Sports Traider Charity is Now Open!

We’re delighted to welcome Sports Traider to the centre, an established charity shop that specialises in sports kit and equipment. Located on Clayton Street, Sports Traider offers young people employment and aims to make clothing and sports equipment affordable for all to help disadvantaged young people participate in sports.

Sports Traider sells pre-loved sports clothing, equipment, and counterfeit goods received via Trading Standards departments and “rebranded” to ensure that the product is legal; encouraging sports companies to recycle old stock by donating it to the cause therefore significantly reducing the pressure on landfill.

From leggings to trainers and running tops, all money collected from each item sold goes towards helping young people within Newcastle and beyond. For example, by organising community sports coaching sessions, access to sporting facilities and more.
