Plan your journey to Eldon Square
Eldon Square is located in the heart of Newcastle city centre with several conveniently situated transport links and plenty of parking available in two adjacent car parks: Eldon Square multi-storey and Eldon Garden. Eldon Garden Car Park is accessible via the Eldon Garden entrance adjacent to Eldon Square and Percy Street and has 445 car parking spaces, including disabled parking spots.
Whether you’re travelling by bus, car, train, bike or on foot – getting here is easier than ever.
Traveling via the Tyne Bridge
Daytime lane restrictions for five weeks will take place from 29 January until 1 March 2024. This will see the Tyne Bridge reduced to one lane in each direction from 09:30 until 15:30, Mondays to Fridays. As the Tyne Bridge’s capacity will be halved during this period, drivers are warned to allow more time for their journey and expect delays.
Please note, Newcastle and Gateshead Clean Air Zone signs and cameras are now in operation throughout the city centre.
Charges only apply to buses, coaches, taxis, private hire vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and light goods vehicles that do not meet national CAZ emissions requirements. For more information visit the Newcastle City Council website here.
