Here at Eldon Square, we offer free Wi-Fi to all our visitors throughout the centre, so you can stay connected on your trip. Simply select ‘Eldon Square Free Wi-Fi’ to get started.
Our visitor lockers are located within Eldon Square bus station.
Lockers are available in two convenient sizes:
- Medium: ideal for most items of shopping, will take a large carrier bag or two with ease.
- Large: when you need that extra space for multiple items, or for storage of a rucksack or roller suitcase, great to share.
Please Note: Lockers are only accessible from 6am to 11.30pm and cannot be accessed outside of these hours.
Lockers can be rented for a period of 2, 4, or 10 hours (sorry, no overnight storage allowed).
Once rented, lockers can be accessed as often as required at no additional cost.
Medium Locker: 2 hours £3.00, 4 hours £4.00, 10 hours £5.00
Large Locker: 2 hours £4.00, 4 hours £5.00, 10 hours £6.00
The lockers accept electronic payment only, this includes both chip and pin and contactless cards, plus contactless smartphone payment via Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Disabled spaces are available in the two adjacent car parks: 23 spaces within Eldon Garden multi-storey and 32 within Eldon Square multi-storey.
Further spaces can be found throughout Newcastle City Centre.

Manual and powered wheelchairs are available for hire from within the centre.
Manual wheelchairs can be hired free of charge at the Customer Service desk, located by Fenwick.
Alternatively, you can access Newcastle City Council Shopmobility on level 4 of Eldon Garden shopping centre, adjacent to Eldon Square. Wheelchairs and other mobility options are available, and staff are always on hand to offer specialist advice on your needs.
We have multiple accessible toilets to make your experience at the centre easier. You can find these in the following places:
- St Andrew’s Way adjacent to the main toilets (near Apple) Plus an assisted changing room located off St Andrew’s Way, near New Look, opposite our customer service desk.
- Grey’s Quarter main toilets, plus one on the lower and one on the upper Grey’s Quarter malls next to Bella Italia.
- St. George’s way toilets (near Argos)
- Eldon Square Bus Station
Assisted Changing Facility
Our Changing Places facility is located off St Andrew’s Way mall near New Look.
This facility is free of charge and is available for customers who need to use it. It is open during centre hours and has a controlled entrance. Customers can request access cards from the customer service desk.
Our facility includes a height-adjustable changing bench with hoist, and ceiling track and peninsular toilet.
Please note that we do not provide slings and advise you to check with your sling manufacturer to ensure they are compatible. Due to the specialist needs of individuals, Eldon Square staff are unable to provide assistance in the use of this facility.
Please be assured that our team will clean the facility between every use.
Our Customer Service Desk near Grey’s Quarter will be temporarily closed, however, our Customer Service Desks near Fenwick and Apple will remain open to all shoppers. If you have a query while in the centre, please just ask a member of staff on the mall who will be happy to help!

Health & safety
In case of an accident or emergency you’ll be in safe hands. Our security staff are trained in first aid skills and will assist on request.
You might be able to buy a UAV, or drone, at one of our centres, but please wait until you get home before you try and use it! We are committed to keeping people safe and out of harm’s way when they visit us, as well as protecting the security and privacy of our staff and members of the public, so we don’t allow the use of drones anywhere on Eldon Square property without express permission. That includes inside our centre, within our retail partners’ stores, in the car parks and on adjacent land, or anywhere else within the centre’s periphery.

When a nappy needs changing, or a toddler needs taming, our parent and baby rooms are on hand.
You can find all you need to take care of your little one at the parent and baby rooms near Argos, Apple and Grey’s Quarter.
Meal times are never easy when out with children, so our restaurants have plenty of high chairs available for free.

How does Amazon locker work?
Amazon Lockers are self-service kiosks where you can receive or return your Amazon.co.uk parcels. You can select a locker location and collect or drop off your parcel at a time that’s convenient for you. How do I start using Amazon Locker Charm? Firstly you need to add Amazon Locker Charm to your Amazon.co.uk address book:
- Click on this link www.amazon.co.uk/addcharm
- You’ll be redirected to the Amazon sign in page. When promoted, sign into your Amazon.co.uk account.
- Once you’re signed in, the Amazon Locker address will automatically be added to your Amazon.co.uk address book. Once the address is in your address book, you can select “Dispatch/Return to this address” during the checkout/returns process and complete your transaction as usual. All items must be eligible for delivery to a locker.
Once your parcel is delivered to the Amazon Locker, you’ll receive an e-mail notification with a unique pickup code. When you arrive to collect your parcel, enter your pickup code or scan the barcode using the barcode scanner and follow the instructions on the screen. All parcels delivered to locker locations must be picked up within three business days. If you’re not able to collect your parcel within this timeframe, the parcel will be returned for full a refund.
To return an Amazon parcel via Amazon Locker, create a returns label using the Returns Support Centre. This will generate an email with your unique return code. When you arrive at the locker, enter your return code into the keypad and follow the instructions on the screen.
How do I find the Amazon Locker Charm?
This location is open 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Saturday and 11am to 5pm Sunday. You’ll find the Amazon Locker in the lower mall entrance from Clayton Street, near Tesco. For more information on Amazon Locker visit their homepage at www.amazon.co.uk/locker

Buy online and pick up in centre
- Shop from the comfort of your home.
When you see something you love, order it directly from the retailer and have it sent over to your nearest centre for collection, free of charge. Simply amend the delivery address at the checkout to Eldon Square.
- Collect from your local shopping centre.
We’ll give you a call or email when your order is ready for collection. Remember to bring along your order confirmation email (either printed or on your phone) and one of the following forms of ID: Driving License, Passport, Credit card, or Debit card.
