Umai Mi – Food & Beverage Assistant

Umai Mi are looking for a charismatic F&B Assistant who ideally has hospitality experience to join their vibrant team in Eldon Square.

Contract:

16-30 hours per week

• Be willing to learn & gain knowledge of the Food & Drinks menus
• To be able to prioritize your time efficiently
• Work well as part of a team & individually
• Have a minimum of 1 year F&B experience – must be able to provide a reference if requested
• Must be able to work evenings & weekends
• Must have flexible availability over the Christmas period

Key responsibilities:

As a F&B assistant at Umai Mi your job role will entail:

•  With training be able to competently run a section of the restaurant to company standard
• Learn the offers we have in the restaurant & be able to upsell • Take table bookings using Res Diary
• Handle customer enquiries & complaints
• Cash handling & card payments
• Taking the customers’ orders using a check pad & pen, repeating the order back to the customers & then successfully inputting the order through our till systems. Checking everything placed through correctly & any allergies or dietary requirements are highlighted & noted.
• Help with all house cleaning duties to a high standard • Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant throughout service.
• Notify any lack of equipment & service materials
