Donate a Christmas Gift at Eldon Square
Mission Christmas has now ended for 2025. Watch this space for 2026 Mission Christmas details.
The festive season is a time for joy, family, and giving – but for many families across the UK, it can also be a time of hardship. This year, our gift donation box is back to support two amazing organisations, Cash for Kids, Mission Christmas and Evry at Newcastle City Council; your support is more crucial than ever to ensure every child wakes up to a gift on Christmas morning.
About Cash for Kids Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity dedicated to helping children who need it most across the UK. Their mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people affected by poverty, illness, neglect, or additional needs.
About Evry at Newcastle City Council
The Evry Christmas Campaign is a city-wide effort to ensure every child and young person in Newcastle feels remembered, valued, and celebrated this festive season. Led by Newcastle City Council as part of its Evry initiative, the campaign works with local partners to collect gifts and gift cards, which are then wrapped and delivered to children and young people in need.
How You Can Help Visitors to Eldon Square are invited to make a difference by buying an extra gift while doing their Christmas shopping, no matter how big or small. Every donation counts and helps bring a smile to a child’s face this Christmas.
You can drop off your donated gifts at the donation box, located next to the Customer Service Desk outside Fenwick, from Wednesday 5th Novemberto 17th December.
Donation Guidelines: 🎁 Gifts should be suitable for children and young people aged 0–18 years. 🎁 All gifts must be new and unwrapped, so they can be carefully matched to a child of the appropriate age.
Donate a Gift Card
This Christmas, Evry is seeking gift card donations from any retailer to help children in need and care leavers feel seen and valued during the holiday season. All gift cards will be distributed directly to young people in time for Christmas by Newcastle City Council. The closing date is Wednesday 17 December at 7pm.
