Join John Lewis & Partners in-store for an Easter crafts class on Saturday, 12 & 19 April, where your little one can get creative and personalise a decoration. This workshop is designed for children aged 3+ with an adult.

Treasure Hunt
Embark on an egg-citing Treasure Hunt in John Lewis & Partners from Monday 7 – Monday 21 April. Find all six Sylvanian Families posters that are hidden around the store and receive a Sylvanian Families Baking Baby Party Series blind bag.

Fenwick
If you’re looking for fun, creative activities to treat your little-ones to this Easter half-term, then Fenwick has got you covered!
This Easter half-term, Fenwick is turning into a baker’s workshop for three creative afternoons. While the kids unleash their baking and decorating skills on cupcakes, grown-ups can relax with a luxurious sparkling cream tea.
Child tickets are £15 and include:
- All the ingredients needed to create 3 cupcake masterpieces
- 3 delicious pre-made cupcakes to decorate (icing, sprinkles and more provided)
- A mini afternoon tea, including a ham or cheese finger sandwich, a fresh fruit pot, and a glass of juice
- A Fenwick cupcake box to take home all 6 of their cupcake creations
While the little ones are busy baking, adults can keep an eye on the creativity while indulging in sparkling cream tea. Adult tickets are £15 and include:
- A glass of sparkling wine (or non-alcoholic alternative)
- Freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam
- Your choice of tea or coffee

Please note: Adults must purchase a ticket for this event. There is no option to bring children without participating in the sparkling cream tea. Eldon Square’s Community Quarter
Attention families! Celebrate Easter with us from Thursday, April 17th to Saturday, April 19th, when kids can let their imaginations soar in the exciting Community Quarter – Don’t miss out!
We’re thrilled to invite you to our free Easter Crafts Event from 10 AM to 3 PM! Dive into creativity with delightful activities like Easter card-making and fun paper crafts.
This fantastic event supports the Children’s Foundation. On Thursday, April 17, and Friday, April 18, families can also enjoy a lucky dip for a chance to win some wonderful prizes.
Donations can be made to the Children’s Foundation via a QR code at the Community Quarter or through cash donations on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 April.
The Children’s Foundation
The Children’s Foundation is a North East children’s charity with the mission for all North East children and young people to be happy and healthy. “Making serious stuff fun” – the charity focuses on improving the health and well-being of children and young people in the region. For 30 years, they have worked with amazing people in the North East to achieve great things.

This Easter, MINISO are bringing the joy of spring with TWO egg-citing ways to win! Shop with MINISO and take a chance on their Easter Lucky Dip! Millie’s Cookies Easter Hunt
Join in the hunt this Easter with the Millie’s Cookies ‘Bunny Bum’ hunt. On April 5, 6,12, 13, 19 and 20, Millie’s Cookies will be hiding the cutest cardboard Bunny Bums around Eldon Square. Those lucky enough to find one will win a Giant Easter Cookie!
