Halloween is creeping closer, and this year Eldon Square is back with a fang-tastic day of spooky fun! From our much-loved Eldon Scare Trail to family entertainment throughout the day, there’s something for every little ghost, witch and wizard to enjoy.

Eldon Scare Trail

Join us for a spellbinding Halloween adventure as Eldon Square transforms into a spook-filled wonderland for families.

Date: Saturday 31 October
Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Location: Community Quarter, Eldon Square
Supporting: Tyneside & Northumberland Mind

Tickets are £3 per child (plus booking fee), with every £3 going directly to Tyneside & Northumberland Mind, helping to support mental health services across our local community.

The Eldon Scare Trail

Start your Halloween adventure at the Community Quarter, where children will receive their trail sheet before setting off on a hunt around the centre. Hidden throughout Eldon Square are 12 Halloween-themed vinyls, find them all to reveal the mystery Halloween word!

Once you’ve completed the trail, make your way back to the Community Quarter and hand in your completed trail sheet to our friendly witches.

Every child who completes the trail will receive a Halloween goody bag packed with spooky sweet treats. Keep an eye out too, as a limited number of goody bags will contain a special surprise, an Eldon Square Gift Card worth between £10 and £50. You won’t know if you’re one of the lucky winners until you collect your bag at the end of the trail!

As a final reward, every child will also receive an official Eldon Scare Certificate of Completion to celebrate their frightfully fantastic achievement.
