Step into a world of make-believe and discover the magic of Christmas at Elf School, where children can become one of Santa’s trusted helpers for the day! This 30-minute interactive experience is brimming with imagination, laughter, and festive spirit.

Your littles ones will meet the cheerful Head Elf, sing joyful tunes, listen to a wholesome Christmas story, and take part in the Present Tower Challenge – a teamwork game filled with giggles and glee. Every child will also create magical reindeer food, earn an Elf Graduation Certificate, and receive a trail map to explore Eldon Square for a chance to win family tickets to see Aladdin at Newcastle Theatre Royal.

Dash Through the Centre at the Elf Fun Run

Grab your running shoes and your Christmas spirit, it’s time for the Elf Fun Run! Taking place on Sunday, 7 December, this 1K family adventure winds through the twinkling malls of Eldon Square, turning the shopping centre into a wonderland of pure joy, laughter, and holiday cheer.

Every runner will don a festive Elf hat, rosy cheeks (optional!), and receive a shiny medal at the finish line. Before the race, join in a lively warm-up with friendly elves to the sound of everyone’s favourite Christmas songs.

Date: Sunday 7 December

Registration: 8:15 am | Run begins 9:15 am

Discover Magic on the Eldon Square Elf Trail

For a sprinkle of Christmas mystery, embark on the Eldon Square Elf Trail, a FREE festive adventure in partnership with Newcastle Theatre Royal. From Friday 21 November to Friday 19 December 2025, families can explore the centre, hunt for hidden elf stickers and solve the festive puzzle for a chance to WIN family tickets to see Aladdin at Theatre Royal.

Start your adventure by collecting a trail map from the Customer Service Desk (outside Fenwick and Boots). Once you’ve found all the letters and solved the secret festive name, return your map to receive a certificate and a sweet treat, the perfect reward for a job well done!
