A Partnership Full of Possibilities
We’re proud to have recently collaborated with students from Newcastle College on the cover and back page imagery featured in the March 2026 issue of Retail & Leisure International Magazine.
This project marks the first activation of Future Heritage, announced at the global real estate event MIPIM. Around 80 Level 3 Newcastle College students across Fashion, Textiles, Marketing, and Art & Design programmes were challenged to create fabric designs and fashion pieces celebrating Newcastle’s heritage, in recognition of Eldon Square and its milestone 50th anniversary year.
Talented BTEC Level 3 Art & Design students Emma Barker and Louise Carr developed the pattern featured on the model and are currently studying at Newcastle College.
The original garment was designed and constructed by Fashion Degree alumna Kat Henzell, whose creativity and craftsmanship brought the project to life.
