Fashion Britain Newcastle Event Line-Up

Future Heritage Show at Grainger Market

On Saturday 26th September from 12pm to 2pm, Eldon Square, in partnership with Newcastle College, Fenwick, Newcastle City Council, and the British Fashion Council, will host its Future Heritage showcase at Grainger Market in the heart of Newcastle city centre, and you’re invited.

As part of the centre’s 50th anniversary celebrations and the nationwide Fashion Britain initiative, Future Heritage challenged students from Newcastle College to draw inspiration from Newcastle’s history to create original fashion and textile designs.

The initiative will culminate in a catwalk show at Grainger Market, where the students’ designs will share the runway with award-winning designer and Newcastle College alumnus Lamin Gibba’s high-end streetwear label, Jerry J Clothing.

As Newcastle’s premier retail and leisure destination, Eldon Square will spotlight the region’s distinctive fashion identity and showcase its next generation of creative talent in this major public event. Don’t miss out!
