Halloween is just around the corner, and this year we’re back with a bang! From our thrilling Eldon Scare Trail to a full week of free activities, there’s something for every young adventurer.

Eldon Scare Trail

This Halloween, Eldon Square is turning up the frightful fun with an exciting new family event, the Eldon Scare Trail!

  • Date: Saturday 25th October
  • Location: Community Quarter
  • Session time: 10am – 2pm
  • In support of: Changing Lives Charity

On Saturday 25th October, Eldon Square will be taken over by Halloween magic, transforming into a spook-filled wonderland for all ages. Little ghouls, cheeky goblins, and their grown-ups can set off on a thrilling trail through the centre, piecing together clues and uncovering the Halloween hidden word!

Best of all, it’s all in aid of Changing Lives Charity, helping to support people in need across the community.

Whether your little monsters are dressing up for the occasion or just keen for some Halloween fun, the Eldon Scare Trail promises a day of spooky fun, all under one roof.

The action kicks off at the Community Quarter, where families will begin their haunting hunt. Children will receive a trail sheet and set off on a mission to uncover 12 hidden Halloween vinyl’s scattered throughout the centre. Once all are found, they’ll reveal a mystery hidden word!

After completing the trail, participants can return to the Community Quarter to hand their sheets to a pair of friendly witches in exchange for a spooktacular Halloween goody bag full of sweet treats and an official Eldon Scare Certificate of Completion – the perfect memento for their haunting efforts.

Tickets are just £2 per child (plus booking fee), and every £2 goes directly to Changing Lives, a charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable people facing challenging circumstances.

But that’s not all! The event also features:

    • Free face painting to transform your little ones into monsters, witches, or pumpkins.

    • Creative Halloween crafts to keep tiny hands busy.

    • A magical meet and greet with Beaste & Esme — appearing at 10am, 11.00am, 12 noon & 1pm for 30-minute sessions.

Whether your child is a daring Dracula or a bashful bat, the Eldon Scare Trail is set to be a frightfully fun day out – and all for an incredible cause.

Tickets are expected to vanish fast, so book early and join us for a Halloween to remember at Eldon Square!
