Eldon Square x Unifresher Competition – Terms & Conditions

Promoter: Eldon Square Ltd, Eldon Square, Percy Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 7JB (“Eldon Square”).

Competition hosted by: Unifresher in collaboration with Eldon Square.

1. Competition Period

1.1. The competition opens at 1 October 2026 and closes at 12pm on 4 December 2026 (“Competition Period”).

1.2. Entries received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.

2. How to Enter

2.1. To enter, participants must complete the competition entry form on the Eldon Square website during the Competition Period – https://eldonsquare.co.uk/eldon-square-x-unifresher/

2.2. Entry into the competition does not require participants to opt in to receive marketing communications from Eldon Square.

2.3. Participants may choose to opt in to receive marketing updates, offers and communications from Eldon Square. This is entirely optional and is not a condition of entering the competition.

2.4. Participants who opt in to Eldon Square marketing may unsubscribe from these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the relevant communication.

2.5. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries may be disqualified.

3. Data Protection

3.1. Although the competition is hosted on the Unifresher website, personal data submitted through the competition entry form will be collected and processed by Eldon Square for the purposes of administering the competition, selecting and contacting the winner and fulfilling the prize.

3.2. Where a participant separately chooses to opt in to receive Eldon Square marketing communications, their personal data may also be used for this purpose in accordance with their marketing preferences.

3.3. Marketing consent is optional and does not affect eligibility to enter the competition.

3.4. Participants can withdraw their marketing consent at any time by using the unsubscribe option provided in Eldon Square marketing communications.

4. The Prize

4.1. One winner will receive one £100 Eldon Square Gift Card.

4.2. The Eldon Square Gift Card can be used at participating stores and restaurants within Eldon Square. Acceptance varies by retailer, and participants should check the current list of participating retailers before attempting to redeem the gift card.

4.4. The gift card is valid for 12 months from the date it is issued.

4.5. The gift card cannot be exchanged for cash or any monetary alternative and is non-refundable and non-transferable.

4.6. The prize must be collected in person from Eldon Square. The gift card will not be posted or delivered to the winner. The winner may be required to provide suitable identification when collecting the prize.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

5.1. One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period.

5.2. The winner will be selected after the competition closes on 4 December 2026.

5.3. The winner will be contacted by email by a member of the Eldon Square marketing team on or around 4 December 2026 using the email address provided when entering the competition.

5.4. The winner will have 14 days from the date of the initial notification email to respond and claim their prize.

5.5. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, or is otherwise unable to claim the prize, Eldon Square reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.

5.6. Eldon Square will make reasonable attempts to contact the selected winner using the details provided at entry. Eldon Square cannot be held responsible where a winner does not receive or respond to the notification email.

7. Eligibility

7.1. The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Eldon Square, Unifresher and their respective associated companies, agencies, contractors, immediate families or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

7.2. Eldon Square reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to disqualify entries where there are reasonable grounds to believe these Terms & Conditions have not been complied with.

8. General

8.1. By entering the competition, participants are deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions.

8.2. Eldon Square reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

8.3. Eldon Square’s decision regarding the competition and selection of the winner is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result, except where required by law.

8.4. No cash or alternative prize will be offered.

8.5. The promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any third-party platform used to promote or host the competition, other than the parties expressly identified in these Terms & Conditions.

Disney on Ice – Utilita Arena x Eldon Square – Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of Eldon Square, Utilita Arena, their associated companies, agents, families and anyone professionally connected with the competition.
  2. To enter, participants must:
    • Follow the Eldon Square Facebook page;
    • Like the competition post; and
    • Tag a friend in the comments.
  3. Each eligible comment tagging a friend will count as one entry. There is no limit to the number of entries a participant may make, provided each entry is valid and complies with these Terms & Conditions.
  4. The competition opens on Friday 2 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on Friday 9 October 2026. Entries received after this time will not be counted.
  5. One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries and contacted directly by Eldon Square via Facebook on Monday 12 October 2026.
  6. The winner will receive:
    • Four VIP rink-side tickets to Disney On Ice: Discover the Magic at Utilita Arena on Thursday 12 November 2026 only;
    • A meet & greet with one of the show’s stars;
    • Pre-show VIP hospitality, including snacks, soft drinks, a show programme and face painting;
    • A £50 merchandise voucher; and
    • A £100 Eldon Square gift card.
  7. The Disney On Ice tickets are valid for Thursday 12 November 2026 only and cannot be exchanged for an alternative date, event or monetary value.
  8. The winner will be required to collect their £100 Eldon Square gift card from the Eldon Square Customer Service Desk. The Disney On Ice tickets will either be provided to the winner at the same time as the gift card or emailed directly to the winner by the show organiser. The method of ticket delivery will be determined by the show organiser.
  9. The £100 Eldon Square gift card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. The gift card cannot be exchanged for cash or any other monetary value and is subject to the gift card’s applicable terms and conditions.
  10. The Eldon Square gift card is only valid at participating Eldon Square retailers and restaurants. Some retailers and restaurants may be excluded from accepting the gift card. Entrants are advised to check the current list of participating retailers and restaurants and any applicable gift card terms before use.
  11. The prize, including the Disney On Ice tickets, merchandise voucher and Eldon Square gift card, is non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash alternative.
  12. The winner must respond to Eldon Square within 48 hours of being contacted. If no response is received within this time, Eldon Square reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  13. The winner may be required to provide reasonable proof of eligibility and identity before the prize is awarded.
  14. The prize is subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the event organiser. Eldon Square is not responsible for any changes, cancellation or postponement of Disney On Ice by the event organiser.
  15. Eldon Square reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it considers to be invalid, fraudulent, offensive or otherwise in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
  16. By entering the competition, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
  17. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering, participants release Facebook from any responsibility or liability arising from the competition.
