Chicken lovers unite: Wingstop is now open in Eldon Square, Newcastle!

We are thrilled to announce the UK’s most exciting and rapidly growing food brands – Wingstop UK – has officially opened in Eldon Square!

Originally founded as a small buffalo-style chicken wing restaurant in Texas, Wingstop quickly gained a loyal following and soared in popularity. The brand made its UK debut in 2018 and has been expanding ever since, now boasting more than 50 locations across the country – and counting!

Avon has arrived in Eldon Square!

Beauty fans – it’s official, Avon has arrived in Eldon Square!

We are thrilled to announce that Avon has joined Eldon Square with their brand new kiosk located outside of Skechers and The Geordie Witch.

Customers celebrated the grand opening on Thursday 28 November with Presenter, entrepreneur, and business ambassador for the North East, Sara Davies, who officially opened the newest Avon UK franchise ‘store.’

The new Avon kiosk becomes the third to open in the UK as well as in the region, all of which are owned and operated in the North East by Gateshead power couple Dave Carter and Ashleigh Hammond. The opening underpins the brand’s continued expansion into omnichannel retail and highlights Avon’s commitment to supporting and empowering women in the region to become successful business owners in a new way.

Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser Café is now open!

Calling all chocolate fans – Hotel Chocolat has opened a brand new store and Velvetiser Café in Eldon Square, Newcastle!

We are thrilled to welcome Hotel Chocolat, the luxury cacao grower and chocolatier, to Eldon Square shopping centre!

The 3,138 sq ft unit, located on Douglas Way next to Three and Typo, offers a welcoming space for 18 guests, allowing the Newcastle community to sit in, relax and enjoy their time while browsing a select range of Hotel Chocolat’s renowned selection of premium chocolates.

Guests can explore a wide range of customizable combinations, choosing from 18 different Velvetised flavours served hot, over ice, or as a Choc Shake. The drinks can be tailored with dairy milk or plant-based alternatives, along with an array of delicious toppings for that perfect personal touch.

The team can also help customers find their chocolate ‘Love Match’ based on their preferred flavour profiles including smooth pralines, patisserie-inspired flavours or something tipsy which packs a punch.
