Peter Rabbit – Hop Art

Our stunning Hop Art Bunny by local Artist Cris Stewart from Netoon Creative will be inside Eldon Square from Wednesday 15th July – Monday 14th September 2026.
In 1995 the exhibition Man, Machine and Motion’ was organised in Newcastle by artist Richard Hamilton, founder of the artist movement we all know as Pop Art today. Little do people know of its Newcastle origins. HOP Art plays with the idea of pop art in all its forms using bold colour, striking pattern, text and image overlays.

Cris Stewartis a creator and artist at Netoon Creative where his work is a love letter to the North East of England. He transforms familiar landscapes and stories into tangible, collectable art miniatures that fit into your hand but carry the weight of home.
