LRM handbag concession within Fenwick are recruiting a Retail Brand and Concession Assistant for full or part time hours.

In-store Retail Brand & Concession Assistant

Based in our host department store, we are looking for a passionate and professional brand and concession assistant, who has demonstrable experience of exceptional sales and customer service, with a creative interest as the role will also include responsibility for producing personalised products in store.

This role is an integral part of the growing LRM brand, and we are looking for someone who will be able to represent the brand and share the story and passion. The ideal candidate will be sales focused yet have a positive and proactive approach to all concession administration and operational duties as well as stock management

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Commerciality and Sales Generation 

  • Accountable for owning, developing and driving sales in store to exceed sales expectations set by the Company
  • Responsible for developing strong initiatives that drive sales.
  • In partnership with the Area Manager provide commercial suggestions and solutions to address under-performance in sales.
  • Provide customer feedback in a clear and succinct manner to relevant parties along with potential solutions to address customer feedback.

Customer Service 

  • Lead by example and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the brand, company operating and manufacturing processes, product and customer – driving passion to increase motivation.
  • In partnership with the Area Manager develop succession plans to foster development and progression.
  • Manage all customer enquiries and respond as the face of the brand
  • Manage the returns & complaints process in a professional manner

Store Operations 

  • To own and deliver stock take.
  • Work with relevant colleagues at HQ to ensure that health and safety is maintained in store.
  • Ensure compliance on policies and procedures at all times
  • Through effective stock management and partnering with the stock control team, ensure that the businesses expectations of shrinkage are met.
  • Demonstrate excellent store administration and organisational skills.
  • Secure Company assets at all times, drive enhancements to processes if risks are defined.


  • Product preparation
  • Whilst the successful candidate will be fully trained in embossing, a practical and hands on approach is key
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent accuracy.

Key Skills, Experience and Knowledge Required: 

  • Extensive experience of working in a similar role within a premium or luxury retail brand.
  • Experience of working in a concession managing store approvals (employees are required to pass store approval the details of which are governed by the host store).
  • Excellent commercial knowledge, solid understanding of a retail environment and the key drivers associated, including consumer behaviours.
  • Proven experience of delivering strong initiatives within a luxury retail or premium retail environment.
  • Sales driven, able to demonstrate experience of consistently meeting or exceeding commercial targets.
  • Knowledge of POS and store systems. Demonstrable ability to navigate computer/handheld systems with sound computer and keyboard skills.
  • Excellent coaching and managerial skills, able to motivate, engage and retain employees.
  • Excellent performance management experience, able to drive, motivate and engage teams with knowledge of employee relations.
  • Resilient with demonstrable experience of displaying positivity and driving innovation.
  • Able to confidently drive solutions and change where appropriate.
  • Excellent use of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Excellent time keeping and reliable attendance.

This role would suit someone looking for a full time position Weds – Sunday or could be split as a part time role.

The successful candidate/s will need to be available to travel for 2 weeks of training in Surrey & Newcastle. Expenses will be paid.
